Happy New Year, a little late as usual... weather has been terrible here. We spent New Years Eve in the dark without power. A neighbour's tree fell on the line knocking out the whole area. I'm just glad we had the wood stove to keep warm as we've actually had winter happen here for a change. We've had quite a lot of snow which is still on the ground today, freezing temps, ice etc... Dan fell down right by my car out front, didn't get hurt luckily.
I'm still doing a lot of sewing for my online shop etc, not so much computer stuff anymore. I've amassed a collection of vintage sewing machines, having over 24 of them now. They are quite cheap in my area, we've even picked up the odd one for nearly free. My oldest hand cranked one is from 1896!
I've been busy lately downsizing my online life some, trying to get rid of duplicates etc. Dan is set to retired in a year and we've been talking of just doing what some friends are doing... getting a nice RV and just hitting the road for a while. We have one now but an older on. We plan on selling the house and if we don't do that we will likely go live closer to Dan's younger brother in Cranbrook BC. It's a lot closer to the kids too, now that we are expecting Dan's 6th, my 1st grandchild in June!! Robert and his fiance' Kyrstin are expecting!
Anyway getting back to the point, I'm trying to deal with my Photobucket account today, which means as I delete stuff, stuff I've shared here and on FB etc are going no longer going to show. I'm a tad worried about the background graphic that is here on the forum. I can't remember if I send the graphic to Ken directly or whether I sent the shared link for it for him to use. I have it downloaded and can send it if something happens and it disappears. Anyway I don't want to stop working so unless I end up having to delete my Photobucket account entirely, I'm going to try to just leave the image there so that there is not interruption cause. Photobucket does not make it easy to go back to the free accounts. I don't even know if I can. I have to email them to have them stop taking the payment each year. I'm a little choked at their over zealous captcha on each and every album of my OWN that I want to download lol.
I basically just want to go back from a paid account to the free account on Photobucket for now but I will probably delete it at some point. I've opted to go with Google photos instead as I'm finding it easier to manage between devices etc. I'm having issues with Photobucket app etc... so it's just not working for me well anymore.
Anyway will try to check in again sooner than later... Judy

Happy New Year Judy.
I'm not sure but I thought I had my own copies of all the graphics, I though you only applied the colours. Its so long ago now, I cant remember exactly how we did make this site. I know when I had to rebuild it, I managed to do it and you only changed the colour. I'm not sure if that background came from me, or whether I was able to reuse what I had in version 4 or whatever it was. As so little of it shows up anyway, if the tile goes, it wont make much difference as long as the colour stays. Just delete your account, I'm sure I can sort things out if I have to.

Ok thanks, I won't worry about it then. I can imagine a lot of stuff on my FB is going to disappear lol. That's another area I'd like to clean up too. I have the NHI background graphic I made on hard drive if you ever need it.

Happy New Year Judy, I am sure it's going to be a good one for you with determination. I just gave my old Singer to charity before reading this message but it would have been a task and a half to post and very costly.

Hi Ann, we've gotten carried away with obtaining the Singers I'm sure lol! We have 4 working treadle machines, 2 cabinets without a machine (used elsewhere) at least 4 hand cranked machines, some knee controlled ones, 2 with "coffin top" cases... I could go on lol. Dan seems to enjoy hunting for them now that he's learn ed a little about the decal sets etc. One of our treadles is an Eaton's store brand, and we have literally no info on it. It's old, we've been told that it is guess-i-mated at pre-1926. Dan got it for very cheap, and we later found another machine (just the machine) for free too. Here is a pic of my Singer coffin top - goo.gl/photos/fbovcLjEqcaDgz2j6goo.gl/photos/fbovcLjEqcaDgz2j6 And here are a few in my "museum" - goo.gl/photos/YbM2x995hiHYyCfZ7
