Well today I am going to have an eye test at Boots, had a hearing test a couple of weeks ago which was fine. I had an MRI scan on my neck on Monday and am waiting for the result of that, Doctor has put me on double tablets for a stomach problem (I have a ulcer and Barrett's ) if that does not resolve will have to go for a endoscope in the new year. Since I moved to Yorkshire 3 years ago I have had 3 MRI scans, one operation, have given blood numerous times, have had some dozen x-rays and one endoscope. Not sure what all that means apart from the fact I am getting older.

I can relate to all of what your saying Jorg - got a stomach ache since I was put on iron tablets my platelets are low, but this is driving me mad I don't feel like doing anything! I have an endoscopy every year as I have varies in the oesophagus I don't enjoy it but better than having a full blown bleed. I am still having problems with the torn hamstring and my balance is rubbish. Been with hubs into town today with a wheelchair I hate it but I wouldn't be able to do the walking from the car to shops and back. Hopefully get rid of this pain in my gut and I can follow thro with the excercise class, the thought of being like this forever and a day I sometimes wonder if I will ever get better.
