Just received my new 70-200mm f/2.8 L USM lens today, and it's taken pride of place in my bag.
Along with it are my new Sigma 150-500mm lens, the NiftyFifty 50mm f/1.8 III, the 8mm Rokinon fisheye lens, and my 100mm f/2.8 L macro lens along with other equipment like flash units, lightmeter, filters and the like. There is one more lens to come to complete the set, and that's the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 aspherical for landscapes. After that, i'll have just about everything I want as far as lenses go.
When Fotokina is over in September, there will be some new Canon crop cameras available with 22mp or better sensors, so that will be the next cab off the rank. The 600D will be kept and used purely for macro with the 100mm L lens.
None of these upgrades would have been possible if I hadn't gone into buying and selling second hand camera gear. Vickie's job has had a reprieve, and there is light at the end of that dark tunnel thankfully, so I don't feel so bad about buying this stuff...

The gear bag sits very comfortably on my back Jorg, but I wouldn't like to be lugging it on a hike into the wilderness. I have a smaller backpack bag for that. This one's mainly for storage and will mainly be left in the boot of the car at a shoot location.
Tony, there is room for a water bottle in one of the side pockets, but i don't think it will get a lot of use... lol I forgot that there was one more lens to fit into this bag yet. Once I get the rest of the money outstanding from the sale of my Nikon mount Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8, i'll be replacing it with a Canon mount model. A quick rearrangement meant that my light meter came out of the pocket in the top, and went down to join the filters etc, and the flash unit went up into the empty pocket, leaving space for the Tokina. Once I get that, I will have all I need to do most types of photography that interests me.
I only have a few bits of my Nikon kit left now, and they are mainly lenses. A 50mm f/1. and another 50mm f/1.8G, a 35mm f/1.8G, and the 18-105mm kit lens that I got with the second D90. All the rest is now sold, and that's what provided the money to build up my new kit.
I'm getting consistent sharp images now since I swapped over to Canon, something that was rare with my Nikon D7000, so i'm in a happy place with my photography these days ....
