One of my Springtime favourites, taken this afternoon in my garden, but these Daffodils are at least a month late blooming this year due to the cold winter we have had here in the UK... Ray

They were late this year Ray. Normally the kids pinch them all for Mothers Day, but there wasn't many out by then, so they survived better this year. They are a lovely flower and they brighten things up, a sure sign of spring.

My little Grandson Jamie made me laugh a couple of weeks ago, he wanted to buy some Daffodils for his mum when I took him to Tesco's but they didn't have any. So on our way into town as I was negotiating the roundabout outside of the Cheltenham Racecourse the roundabout was just a sea of daffodils he said 'quick Grandad, stop the car so we can get some of those Daffodils for my Mum!' Lol! He was quite disappointed when I said they do actually belong to someone and we can't just pick them!

They are beautiful Ray. Used to see lots of them around my mothers way, dont see many of them up here. They are mostly the old yellow ones around here, with a scattering of white.

Everything here is early this year because we had a really mild winter this year. Daffy's are done and over with.... We had forsythia blooming in late February.
