I am told by a reliable source it's 3 weeks minimum and takes time to get over the infection on top of that, keep warm Judy and hopefully you will be ok by Christmas

Just checking in and letting everyone know that I've changed my username to "judymcl". I don't live in Ruskin anymore so been thinking of dropping the handle after 18 years of use.

Hi all, I'm still kicking... I see some of you on the Facebook mostly these days. I don't do much on there but plug my litle online shop and look at piccies of the grandkids etc. We still like living here in eastern BC. We get a real winter now rather than the damp rainy ones like you folks in the UK get too. It's a drier cold and we don't seem to feel it in our bones as much.
Love the house we are in, it's little but just big enough for the 2 of us. Best thing is there isn't much to fix with it. We have just done a bunch of upgrades, such as the electrics and the roof and such. Most places here have metal roofs. Nice to know we'll never have to do the roof again in our lives as they are guaranteed for at least 40 years.
Dan has gotten into those "bid wars" places which are local bidding sites. He is pretty good at $5'ing it lol. I sew my quilts and things most of the time which I am passionate about. I can't keep or gift it all so I sell the excess online on Etsy and Square. It would pile up the house otherwise lol.
We've had our little Dell Inspiron 13 5000 series 2 in 1 laptops for about a year and a half now. Just love them. I fooled Dan real good at Christmas with them when I got them. He had no idea! Lately mine was running slow because of the new quilting programs I have on it. I need those so I can make and/or transfer designs to my embroidery machine. However because I didn't have enough RAM the program hung and crashed often. I've got 4 large programs for doing all that stuff. So recently I went to Crucial.com did the scan thingy and then purchased more RAM for mine through Amazon.ca. I like how Crucial gives you different options to buy. One choice was the American Amazon so I just copied and pasted the particulars to the Canadian Amazon so that I got CAD pricing. That and with the Prime, it was here in 2 days... gotta love that! I doubled up and maxed out my RAM by buying a 16GB kit so that they were a matching set. Then, I took my original RAM and added it to Dan's laptop. Being "twins" he would have the exact same OEM RAM as me, and he did, so that was like a two-for deal! So now, he is doubled up too!
Anyway hope everyone is doing ok, just thought I'd check in... see you on FB.
Happy Birthday Ray! Judy
